I am a senior at Western Kentucky University studying Elementary Education.  I have always wanted to spend my life working with children.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to go to college to become a teacher.  Children are a very important part of my life.  The Lord blessed me with two beautiful daughters and a foster daughter.  They are all in elementary school and very active in church and sports.

Currently, besides my three children and wonderful husband, I am the coordinator for East Hartford Baptist Church's TEAMKid program.  I also coach a 6-year old girls soccer team and help my husband with his 10-year old soccer team.  In my spare time, (yeah right), I try to substitute teach.  Every time I find myself in a classroom, I feel so blessed.  I have no doubt that this is where God intends on me to be.  I can not wait until I have my own classroom and have the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.

I am married to the greatest husband and could not have made it through college without his love and support.  My family has also been a true blessing in supporting me.  My dad is a coal miner and Mayor of Beaver Dam, KY.  My mom is the Bookkeeper for our local county High School.  I have two sisters, one a guidance counselor and the other a dental hygienist, both  graduates of Western Kentucky University.  This year I was finally blessed (Thanks Mark and Kellie!!) with a beautiful baby niece.  There are also numerous friends that have given me unlimited support that I am so thankful for.  I have no doubt they will be so glad when I finally graduate.   THANKS TO EVERYONE!!!!!
